  • Grey’s Anatomy New Season

So were you able to catch the Season Premier of Grey’s Anatomy last Thursday? I did, I was glued to the TV right up until after this weeks previews.

My thoughts – Meredith & Derek

I thought the two hours Season Premier was great. Who doesn’t like Grey’s for a whole 2 hours? I’m a little upset that Meridith and Derek are still only married on a sticky note, although very cute and funny, the 2 hour season premier noted that it had been like 2 months and they still couldn’t make it to the court house? I don’t know about you guys, but as a Meredith and Derek fan, I wanted to see them actually walk down the isle and finally get married. I love how Meredith at the end of the show when they were clearing out George’s cubicle, that she finally broke down, it shows that she does have a human side of her after all. I love how we kept catching Meredith and Derek in all parts of the house naked, saying they were newly weds. That was really funny.

My thoughts – George, Izzie & Alex

I can’t believe that George was actually killed off the show. Okay, I kind of can, only because I heard the same rumor I’m sure all of you heard, that he wanted off the show. I honestly think it was a big mistake for him to want off the show, the show is doing great, and I just don’t see him making it big in the movies. It was very sad to see him go though, and it was a heart wrenching moment when Izzie went in to see him. The girl that he saved, was annoying me just as much as Izzie and I loved when she finally went up to her and told her that if she saw her there again, she would kick her ass. That was a great moment! I’m not too thrilled about Izzie still having cancer, but I’m happy she didn’t leave Grey’s Anatomy too. I had heard rumors she wanted out too, but I don’t think it would be the same without her. I love that she’s with Alex, and I love how she told him she needed him in bed, I know Alex was scared of loosing her but he was just pushing himself away from her, and she was right to want to have him in her bed. Go Izzie!

My thoughts – Miranda Bailey, The Chief, Christina & Owen

Bailey was driving me crazy this episode. I love her strong personality and she always has it together, but this episode she was just taking her anger out on Christina and just had that sour face the entire time. I love how Derek stopped the elevator, and although he didn’t give her advice he let her speak out what she was feeling. She has to let it out though, lets see how she is next episode. As for the Chief, I can’t stand him being such an ass, and Derek tried giving him the heads up but he only lashed out at him, now there are going to be cut backs, it better not be any of our cast. Derek should have just taken the job! Lets see where this will go. Christina and Owen are improving in their relationship and I think they are super cute together. Other then that, there really isn’t much to talk about yet….

My thoughts – Callie, Arizona, Mark & Lexie

Callie was heart broken to find out it was George in the operating room, and I think she did a great job acting and crying on screen. She had every right, she truly did love George. I thought it was really funny when she made the intern take care of the Chiefs leg, but does this mean she’s no longer at Seattle Grace? How is this going to work, I think the two hospitals merged, but I still don’t see how this is going to pan out. Callie and Arizona, there something about them I really like, they just fit. Mark and Lexie, I love them together, they truly make a great couple. I love when Callie keeps undressing, barging in on Mark in the shower and Lexie is just shocked this is happening in front of her. She asks Callie how gay she really is, this was too funny. Callie tells her to not worry, Mark used to look at her boobs all the time but now he doesn’t he really loves her. She says’ she will try to not barge in anymore though. At the end Lexie finally brings over a toothbrush and panties, too funny along with her luggage. I LOVE IT!

This episode was great and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for us.

  • Work kills

Some of us work only 40 hours a week, but isn’t that enough to stress someone out when they have 10 million other things to do after work?
Some of us work 40 hours a week and go to school. I’m that someone. Some of us work more then 40 hours a week, sometimes even up to 60-80 hours a week.

Does Work kill you in the end?

Some would agree it does. We work our ass’s off and for what? At the end of the day you’ve missed 8 hours of your day, you missed time with family or friends, you pay the bills with the money you earned from work and the day starts all over again, same routine, another day. Some people a job is just that, WORK…we do it because we have to, because we have no other choice. We have to pay our bills and put food on the table. We all have to work and we work half our lives and then we die. Sounds a bit negative huh?!? That’s because if you think of it that way it is.

    Work is part of life

We do have to work, but do we have to hate it? No! Some of us love our jobs and we call them our CAREERS! We go to work feeling like we are accomplishing something in our lives, getting to a place where we want to be at our age. We also do it to pay bills and put food on the table but some of us don’t know how to budget correctly. If you save your money correctly, get to where you want to be, you can use all that work you did to pay off. Go on a vacation, buy that pair of shoes you’ve been staring at for weeks. The little things in life are what make us smile. Some of don’t make that much money, that doesn’t mean you still can’t take a vacation. If you budget right you can take what I like to call a “mini vacation”. It’s not far from home, some where, where you can drive to. For example, if you live in Miami, you can go to Naples or Orlando. Take a 3 day weekend, to sit back and relax and enjoy all that hard working money you have to do each and every day.

40 hours a week plus school

I can’t say it doesn’t drain you. I do it because I need to do it. I do it for me. I want to have a job/career one day that I enjoy doing, that I get paid well enough to buy the things I want to buy and live in a nice house. Working from 7 in the morning and then going home or to the campus for class after a long day at work, well it drains you. Sometimes I feel like there aren’t enough hours in a day. I get home so exhausted sometimes I don’t feel like opening the book to keep studying, BUT I do it anyway because I know that I’m paying for these classes and I have to pass. I wish I had stuck with school when I was younger, by now I would have my education and my career. Truth is, sometimes things don’t always go as planned. Time sometimes feels like it’s running out, each day you get older and that vision, that dream where you thought your life would be at a certain age sometimes isn’t what it is. You have to get up in the morning, thank God you are here and healthy, that you have a job and you are able to go to school. I take each day with me, and I keep going, waiting for that goal at the end of the tunnel. It might take me longer then expected, or longer then most, but I plan on getting there one day. Work can kill you if you let it, but if you sit back, think positive and let that positive energy flow into your body and into your life, work can have a whole new meaning to your life.

    Life is strange that way

Life gives you roads, and each road leads you towards a different path. Sometimes we don’t always take the right road, but we find our way back, and when you do, you can only try to make things right. I can’t say I’m where I wanted to be at my age, I can’t say I don’t regret certain things in life, but I can say that I’m changing my life for the better. I’m working to where I want to be, it might just not be at the age I expected, but I will get there. With each passing day, I keep moving forward.

  • Realtor’s Don’t know how to do their jobs!?!

As a potential buyer and an “assistant” to a Realtor I know how hard it is to actually find a good Realtor out there today. It right out makes me upset to see these Realtor’s with the way the market is doing out there, still NOT doing their jobs!

    My experience

Let me not even get started on the MLX website. On top of being slow, they truly need to update it and if you have a Mac computer, which I do, then you can’t be a Realtor unless you add Window’s to your computer, which thankfully now we can do. But enough about that…. Most of the time the houses you are looking for don’t have pictures displayed. How can we show our clients or how can I see what the house looks like if the Realtor who is selling this property doesn’t add pictures?!? That’s one, then most of the time the information about the house is barely there.

The other day I see a house listed as a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, but when I’m reading the description the Realtor wrote about the Condo, it states that it’s a 2 bedroom 1 bath home. So which one is it? I’m a bit confused here? Last week I called the Realtor about a Condo they had listed because it stated they weren’t having any showings, the Realtor explained that the buyers aren’t showing the house because they are not sure if they want to proceed with the short sale. When we look the next day it stated the same thing, we look again on the third day and it now states “We have an offer that the homeowners approved, we are still accepting bids”. So they weren’t sure if they were going to proceed and they weren’t showing the listing, but in 2 days they managed to get a buyer and accept their bid? That sounds a bit strange to me.

    Another problem ….

Today I called a listing to see if we can go see it, and the Realtor tells me “Oh that listing isn’t on the Market anymore, I need to take it off the listing”. I wanted to tell him, “Oh really, then do your job and take it off the MLX”. If it’s no longer on the Market when does this guy expect to take it off the listing? After he gets about 10 calls on the property? It’s just completely frustrating having to deal with Realtor’s who aren’t doing their jobs correctly. I also called two other Realtor’s for two separate properties and neither of them picked up. One Realtor had two numbers and one of them the office was closed at 8am, and the other number her mail box was full. Okay that’s okay I left a message and she has an email address so I’ll email her, right?!? WRONG! Her email came back to me in error. NICE!

I see that people are still buying homes, left and right, but somehow it seems impossible for me to find one.

I only have hope that I find one that will finally be my HOME!

  • The Stripper, The Priest, and The Baby

Sounds like a Joke right? Couldn’t be true, right? It’s on the news so it has to be true? RIGHT???

I couldn’t believe what I was reading but this Catholic Priest met this stripper obviously in a strip club over 6 years ago. They had an on and off relationship for years Beatrice Hernandez claims. Father David Dueppen allegedly not only dated this women/stripper, but he abused her and got her pregnant. He tried to deny the baby was his, but Beatrice had him take a paternity test and it is proven 99.9999% to be the babies father.

    My thoughts

I couldn’t believe what I was reading. What is this world coming to, that not even a priest can stick to his own vows made to God. Seriously this title, I thought it was going to be a joke?!! Unfortunately it’s not and these are the kind of things we have to read/hear about in the news. This man should not be able to be a Priest any more and I hope that they take full action into him taking responsibility for what he has done. If he wanted to date strippers or women then he should have not made the vow to become a priest and if he noticed it was wrong for him, then he should have told the church and resigned from his position has a priest. (I’m not sure how this works) but I’m sure there are better ways then to sneak behind the church and do these kinds of things.

Right now Beatrice is getting a restraining order towards the Priest and she is also going to court herself for allegedly stalking another women she claims is the Priest’s new girlfriend….Oh what is this world coming to?!?

  • Overwhelming Life…

Sometimes life becomes overwhelming. In my case in particular, I work full time from 7am to 4pm then Monday’s and Wednesdays I go to school on campus so my day’s are pretty much from 7 to 7. Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays, I try to do as much with my other online classes and every other Thursday I have my nail appointment so I don’t get home until after 6 those days either, and every other Friday I get my acupuncture done. Yes my life is busy. Did I mention that in between all that on the weekends most of the time I’m also studying doing homework Saturday and Sundays and in between I try to make time to hang out with friends and family or we have birthday’s to go to etc. Tomorrow where I usually go home to study I’m meeting with a lady to help me study for my Math test on Monday. Another very much stressed case right there.

Things you need to try and make time for:

When life gets overwhelming, no matter how many things you have to do in life, you have to stop, take a breath and enjoy it. I’ve learned through out my life that one day you’re here and the next you can be gone and it doesn’t matter what age you are. When I take a break I spend time watching TV with my boyfriend, writing, or just hanging out with the family and friends. Sometimes I need that break, to just relax and not think of school and the stress of trying to finish as soon as possible. I won’t stop though, as stressful as it is, I’ve also learned that even in today’s world, even if I can’t find a job right away with whatever career I decide to choose, in the end of the day that little paper that say’s I have a degree is all that matters. I will be proud of myself to have been able to go through this long journey of life and say that I finally DID IT!

  • A Thousand Words

    Thousands of words spoken
    Could never really describe
    Every moment spent with you
    Through an angels eyes.

If I give you a thousand kisses
    I could never convey
The amount of love I feel for you each and every day.

A thousand smiles in your direction
    And you could never see
The million of smiles you give me when you look at me.

    A thousand worlds combined
And in my heart you are mine
I never thought I would find a love like ours intertwined.

A thousand lives in our path
    A million to come
But what I see in my heart
Is the love I once lost.
    Now found through the light
Given a chance to shine bright
I look into your eyes and see what could be
Everything around me has me falling to my knees
Thanking the lord and the angels above
    For giving me your love.

A thousand stars in the night and you only see one
That’s how I feel when I feel your love.
I never thought I find you in my life
Everything I look for and all the days of our lives.

    Thousands of words spoken
    Thousands of kisses to come
A thousand smiles in your direction
A thousand worlds found as one
A thousand lives in our path
A thousand stars in the night
    No matter how many thousands
It will always feel right because you are the man of my dreams
    The one I adore
The one I want to be with forever & more.

  • Key West – Labor Day weekend

Key West is always fun when you go with a group of people you know are going to just lay back and have fun.

    Saturday:

We went with a group of 8 people, and close friends and family and as usual we had a blast. We headed out early Saturday morning, first things first, the car wouldn’t start. But don’t fear….we have men and they will handle the issue. Run and get a battery, replace battery, 10 minutes later, we are off to the Keys. We wanted to have breakfast at Crackle Barrel but since we were off schedule and by that time the place was packed we went to the next best thing….McDonalds. 😉 LOL

    Oh no not the Rain…

Rain, rain go away come again another day, we are going to the Keys and we need to party, we can’t have this rain ruining our weekend!!! We got to the Keys and the guys unpacked while the girls went to Publix to pick up food, on the way we picked up Battle with the Sexes just in case we got rained in, but I was pretty positive that it would turn out to be a great weekend. Sure enough we got back and it wasn’t raining anymore, so we started our night of drinking and had a dip in the pool. Got out a bit early and I made my pasta that I always love to make. We ate and got ready for a night out in the Keys.

    Night time fun!

We headed out to Irish Kevin’s Bar. The place isn’t that big but we managed to get a small table with stools, the place was cool inside and if you are from Miami you know it’s heaven to find a place that is actually cool inside. We ordered drinks and the guy on stage was singing with his guitar, the place was one of those bars where you sing a long to certain words with the singer and it was GREAT! We had so much fun, we wanted to try other bars so we headed to where they have the Bull- ride….my friend tried it but fell off, it was too funny. Oh did I mention that at Kevin’s one of my friends tried the chugging beer contest and his wife went on stage to sing….well that was fun! We went to a few places, someone broke a sandal, I found him a pair in five minutes, paid and headed off to the next bar.

    Sunday Sun

We headed out to the pool after breakfast, and what did I say in the beginning? It was a beautiful day! We were out there for hours, laughing, drinking and just having fun and meeting new people. Later we got ready and headed out for dinner. The place was not impressive and we got stuck waiting for the bill for a while. We later headed back to Kevin’s Irish Bar since we had so much fun the night before. It started off slow, and the drinks were weak, the guy singing was good but all he could sing was country, which isn’t bad but a song that’s not country , not sooo good. Luckily he finished shortly after and the the guy who came on stage next was from a band at another bar we saw the night before. Him and the guy he was with was great. Again, the drinks came and again we sang along and again we had another GREAT night! We headed back to the hotel, and baked cookies with ice cream, what better way to end a night then that?!?

    Monday Morning ~ Labor Day

We got up, and we headed back home. We played Battle of the Sexes in the car, did I mention how hard that game was and did I mention we laughed practically all the way home. Isn’t it great to have people in your life that you just get a long with, that you have so much fun with and that you love so much.

To another great Birthday long weekend to my boyfriend Tony, oh I didn’t mention that, oh yea, this was part II of his birthday, Lucky guy!!!! To many birthday’s, to many more Key West trips with my brother and sister in-law and Friends….To the next time!

  • Seattle Trip ~ Things I did…

My Seattle trip was extremely fun and so nice to get away from Miami and the weather.

    Things we did:

We went to the space-needle. The view was beautiful from up there and I only wish it hadn’t been so foggy. Either way it was a lot of fun to experience. We also took the Underground Tour which I highly recommend if you are ever going to visit Seattle, it gives you a lot of the history on how Seattle was built and the tour guides are funny and fun. The art museum is a must see, if you are really into this kind of stuff. We had to rush a bit through it because we wanted to see it before we came back home (the same day) but it was still really nice to see. Pike Place Market is a must, if you have never been to Seattle it’s just one of those places that you have to see for yourself. All the fresh fruit, seafood, meat, flowers. Oh the flowers…. the flowers were so BEAUTIFUL! We also managed to take the ferrie out to Bainbridge Island. This island is an old town, you walk downtown in about 5 minutes, but it’s so worth going to see the beautiful houses off the island when coming in from the ferries.

    Food, Food and Food~

We ate, and boy was it good! We ate sushi, and seafood, and steaks oh my! What else do you do on trips?!? If you want to know where we went to eat just ask me and I’ll be happy to link you to my Yelp.com account, where I reviewed all the places I went to.

Seattle is a beautiful city and I look forward to visiting again.

  • Preparing for Seattle Trip

Preparing for a trip can be hectic, especially if you work full time and just started classes again, oh and did I mention the other 10 million things I had to fit in between all the other stuff?!?

    Check List

Every trip I make myself a list of what I need to take on the trip, and as I pack I check it off. It makes me feel a little more sane, with hoping I don’t leave anything I might need behind. I have gotten better though, I figure if I really need something, then I will just buy it there. (Good excuse to go shopping too) 😉

    Toothbrush – Check
    Underwear – Check
    Shoes – Check

    The list goes on….

Do you plan in advance what you want to see?!?

I don’t have my day to day schedule but I do have a list of things that we do want to see, and from there we’ll decide which day we’ll do what. I’m super excited though, it’s my first time to Seattle, and I have heard good things. The weather is going to be around upper to low 70’s during the day and 50’s at night, I can’t wait.

I’ll be sure to update you on how the trip is going.

    XO,
    Kristin Nicole

  • Dreams – What do they mean?!?

    Dreams

I had a dream last night that I had to have surgery, it was so weird though. In my mind they had to take a tooth out, which I have always feared and had dreams about, teeth falling out etc. Last night however it was different…

    My dream

Last nights dream I was in some type of hospital and this doctor kept prepping me for surgery. She said she had to take my bone marrow out. I didn’t want to have surgery so I kept trying to get away, she said I couldn’t get down from the table, if I touched the floor with my bare feet I would have to get prepped for surgery all over again. After trying to get away for a while, she finally got me on the table and I started falling asleep, when I woke up I felt fine, and the next thing I know I’m heading to this restaurant in New York that I went to with my boyfriend and a few friends, except it was on a beach. My boyfriend was in a wheel chair and I was walking as if nothing happened, I kept thinking to myself and wondering why he was in a wheel chair and I felt just fine. He asked if we can sit outside because inside was too loud, we headed outside and the restaurant was right by the beach, I looked up and the clouds were dark gray, and then I woke up.

    Dream Dictionary:

    Surgery
To dream that you or someone else is undergoing surgery, signifies the opening of the Self and/or the need for emotional healing. You need to “cut out” or eliminate something from your life. Alternatively, you are feeling the influence of some authority figure. A more literal interpretation of this dream may reflect your concerns about upcoming surgery or about your health.

I’m not sure if this is accurate, I personally don’t feel like I need to “cut out” or eliminate something from my life. But I’m not sure exactly what to think of this dream. All I know is that it was so clear to me this morning, and it stuck in my head which was awkward…

You can find more Dream meanings by Clicking Here.

“The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake, when you don’t know the difference between reality and fantasy, when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality, and it really happened.”-Unknown
