Is this a joke? No it’s not. A 23-year-old man by the name of David Eric Hampton robbed a gas station in Charlotte County Florida. He robbed the gas station with a 12 inch blade. After robbing the gas station a witness followed him out of the gas station and called 911.
Soon after a newspaper carrier came to tell Police, that the car they were describing ran out of gas nearby. The police headed over and caught the guy. He later was released on bail for $10,500.00.
This is one of those stories you hear about in Stupid News…. Didn’t you check the gas first before deciding to rob a place. And if anything you could have put gas first then robbed the place. I can’t believe they let him out on bail though, but hopefully he’ll be back behind bars soon. He’s only 23 years old and he’s already throwing away his life. He needs something to wake him up, get on the right track.

I just caught this report about a Statewide Amber Alert for a missing 5 year old from Hermit’s Cove in Satsuma, Florida. Haleigh Ann-Marie Cummings was last seen at 10:00 p.m. Monday.
Local news states that Haleigh is around 3 feet tall, has blond hair, brown eyes, and weighs about 39 pounds. She was wearing a pink shirt and her underwear when she was last seen.

There isn’t much to say about a situation like this, just simply that it SUCKS! It makes me so upset to see these Amber Alerts, to know that some asshole as taken another child. I pray for the safety of Haleigh and for her family to stay strong through this horrible ordeal.
Today I have decided to talk about something different, other than what bad stuff is happening in the world. I found this article on Yahoo.com. It’s about a 9 year old boy who writes a hit iPhone App. Yes you heard right! 9 YEARS OLD!!! He designed a game for the iphone that you can draw with your fingers, like the Etch-A-Sketch-style. It’s called Doodle Kids, and it had about 4,000 downloads in 2 weeks. I read that you can even shake your phone so that the drawing fades away, just like the Etch-A-Sketch. His name: Lim Ding Wen. He is from Singapore and knows up to six programming languages. Now imagine if at 9 he came up with this game just for his sister because she likes to draw, what will he accomplish by the time he’s 20?!?!?
It’s amazing to me how some children are so smart, talented, different. Good different. How many of you can say you can come up with a game like this for the iPhone? And how old are you? I just find it absolutely amazing, this kid is going to go places.

West Palm Beach County Police are looking for a man that is behind some robberies and sexual attacks just this past weekend. He has assaulted a women at the gas station 3 days prior, but the most recent attack was this past Saturday. The man went to get a massage and there he sexually assaulted the women with a gun and robbed the place. He assaulted a woman at the gas station and also made one women drive her to her home, where he tied and assaulted her then robbed her. The sketch below is what the man should look like. PBSO says the man possibly drives a blue and white truck.

It saddens me to hear stories like this. Even as we are putting gas in our cars, we have to be extra aware of what is lurking around us. Luckily all these women are okay physically, but they will have to endure this emotional pain for the rest of their lives. Being sexually assaulted has to leave wounds that no one can every take a way. Fear is one of the worst feelings a human being can have. To live this way is not a way to live. I do believe however, that there are ways to overcome this fear, ways to keep living. Life is to precious to have fears take over.
I have been wanting to take some self defense courses, I think women all over should take classes like this. It will help those who have had trauma, over come some of their fears, and those who have not experienced such horrible violence, it will help them to prevent such crimes upon them. If anyone has a place they go to in Miami please let me know.
Live life, don’t let fears take over the little time we have in this world.

A lot of people are now talking about Jessica Simpson. She is now a size 12, she’s over weight, she is getting fat. There are rumors that they are even saying that some fashion designers won’t be sending her free things anymore, because they don’t want her wearing their clothes looking like this. I can’t believe this. Well yes I can! The glamor, the fame, Society, they have been telling us for years that looking “thin” is what’s in and if your not, you aren’t good enough, pretty enough etc, etc….. this is why we have 10 year olds worrying about how they look. This is why we have women who are bulimic, or anorexic, and don’t be fooled some men feel this way too.
I totally agree with what Ashley Simpson had said last week: ‘Women come in different shapes, sizes and forms. Just because you are a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard.

That question stands out to me so much. Seriously, think about it. So right now according to “standards” I’m over weight, and I have a little tiny pudg. OMG, am I obese? NO! Yes I can exercise a little more, eat a little healthier, but I look good right.
Okay so I have to admit, it’s not the media who’s gotten to me, it’s society. All these women go out there and get all these plastic surgeries to look so good, have the best bodies, and well I’m just a regular girl. How can I compete right? I don’t believe in diets though haha, I think we only live once, and we should enjoy the pleasures of food. One pleasure I love oh so very much! You have to balance though. During the week I try my best to eat a healthy breakfast and lunch and small snacks in between. Dinner I try my best to eat healthy too, sometimes I don’t always cook, so I can’t control the menu, but I try not to eat any fried food. i try to exercise 3 times a week. And once in a while when I’m in the mood, I have that chocolate chip cookie. My bowl of pasta. I can’t help it I LOVE FOOD, especially Pasta! YUMMMMMM
Okay back to the subject. I am sure many women out there feel like me, but I understand that sometimes you feel almost as if you are the only one in the world out there that feels this way. How can someone understand what I’m going through? I’ve been there before. Feeling as if you aren’t pretty enough, good enough. You have to sit back, look in the mirror and tell yourself, no matter how funny it may sound. No ones’ looking, it’s just you in the mirror, and repeat: “I AM BEAUTIFUL”, “I AM BEAUTIFUL”. Don’t stop until you truly start believing it. Everyone is beautiful. Sure I don’t look like that super model in Victoria Secret. Do I wish I looked like her. MMMMM Sometimes. Am I ever going to look like her? No. So why keep wishing. I am me. I am beautiful.
Look within yourself, and once you see who you truly are, you will love yourself, you’ll love everything about what makes you, YOU!

“Sexual Predators Are Sneaking Around Online
Caution: Online Sexual Predators Pose As Kids” – This is what is posted on line on CBS4 news.
They say that about 90,000 sex offenders have been found and removed from the Web site MySpace. This is about 40,000 more than the amount they had previously encountered. They say the owner of MySpace, the news corporation and the two U.S. attorney generals came to an agreement Tuesday. Last year MySpace gave them the authority to push forward, to make sure that their site was a little bit more safer than before.
The site, if you have noticed has features, such as if you go to search for friends, you can’t search for anyone younger than 18. This at least helps band sexual predators from searching children under 18.
Unfortunately, sexual predators sometimes find ways to find younger children. They pretend to be your age, fake picture, and they tell you what you want to hear. This applies to both boys and girls. You need to be careful if you are on these sites.
I have a 15 year old sister who just recently got myspace. It’s scary to think that there are so many weirdos out there. You have to make sure your myspace account is private, that when searching for you, they can’t just find you by your first and last name. Put in a fake name. If the person wants you to add them as a friend, they have to know your email address, this at least insures that the person knows you. If you do happen to come across a friendship that you don’t know, delete it, because it can be someone posing as young boy or girl your age, just trying to manipulate you into getting to know them.
Be careful, Be cautious and always Trust that if you have a bad feeling, go with it!

Ok, so I’m window shopping at Sunset Place, Miami Florida with my friend “Z”, and we go into this store look around and walk out when I look at the window I see this mannequin with huge boobs, and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I actually walked away, went into a Aldo shoe store right next door, got out of the shoe store and I just had to take this picture. A mannequin with big boobs, WTH!?!. So what does this tell our future our young children? We need fake boobs to fit into these dresses/ to look good? I thought it was funny more than anything. I told my boyfriend that now I’ll have to get big fake boobs in order to fit into these kind of clothes. So there goes my house fund! LOL

I found an article on Yahoo, that talks about how the wii fit is only a fad, how people use it for a month and then drop it. Brian Crecente, managing editor of the popular gaming blog Kotaku, says to not go out and get it.
I think people are just lazy, just like any exercise you start to do it and you drop it for a while because we as human beings get lazy. I admit, I have been there plenty of times.
For instance, one of my New Year Goals, was to exercise at least 3 times a week. I started off great, then for about the last 3 weeks I haven’t done anything. I got sick for a little, and I’ve been busy with school, still this is no excuse, true reason laziness. This is everyone’s problem. I don’t think that the wii fit doesn’t work, I just think people are lazy. I have been thinking of buying one once I find my house, I think that I will use it. And like any exercise I will drop it for a while, and then continue it. =) But that clearly isn’t the wii fit’s fault, or Nintendo for promoting it this way. This is our fault for not continuing to exercise. I definitely will use it though and try my best to not drop it.
Monday I began to exercise again. I felt like my body needed it. So far I’m 2 for 2 and today I’m going to work out too. The last 2 days I did Pilates, today I’m going to try this new Yoga DVD I bought. I want to get in better shape by March. I’m going to the Key West for my sister in law and 2 other friends Big 30 Celebration, we are renting a 3 bedroom cottage by the beach. I am super excited and can’t wait to go. Now although I know I’m not completely over weight, I have gained a little bit of weight that I am not currently comfortable with. I used to always be so skinny, and that I didn’t like either, I finally gained the weight I was happy with. I was happy with my body and recently like never before I gained more weight. I guess this is what age does to you. I think it’s important to stay healthy especially as we get older, because it’s not as easy as before to loose the weight. My goal is really just to loose the fat around the mid-waist area. Then I’ll be ready for the beach this summer! What are your goals, for this summer?

Okay, so someone was trying to shut down a gay porn site because it was located in a Miami Home. The house they say by looking at it, looks like a regular residence. So what’s the problem?
They say the boys of Cocodorm — Snow Bunni, J Fizzo, et al — are staying just where they are, but only after a federal judge ruled that the gay porn website has a right to film out of its Edgewater home.
“Cocodorm.com features black and Hispanic men, known as ”dorm dudes,” who share a webcam-filled house together.” (Per The Miami Herald)
I say if this is where they want to shoot their films, and they aren’t hurting anyone then why not? No one can even see them, unless your looking over the fence. And I say if your looking over the fence, you must like what you see, if not DON’T LOOK.
I’m glad the District Judge Marcia Cooke sided with the porn company, to keep it going. Personally, not into gay porn, but I think for those who are, shouldn’t be penalized for the ignorance we have in this world against “gay” people. There just like you and me, difference: They like the same sex. Who cares!!!!! Are you living that way in life? NO! I just never understood those rally’s of people standing outside to yell and scream of how your going to hell! You shouldn’t be gay! WHY NOT!!!!????? Who are you to judge?

Mary Ann Blustein, 63,died Saturday. A northbound truck she was in tried to pass a slower vehicle. The driver apparently did not see the semi heading south & the vehicles collided head-on. She died on the scene.
I have always said that Krome Ave is dangerous, it’s a one way road going north and south and people tend to go slow. People who want to go faster, speed up on the other side to pass, but in some cases you aren’t so lucky as to keep driving, you become another Mary Ann Blustein. I don’t know why, after so many years they haven’t tried to expand Krome Ave. Make it at least 2 lanes on each side. This devastating accident now will live on with the family members of Mary Ann.
This should teach many of us a lesson. If you are in a hurry, or just don’t have the patience to stay behind a slow car, Is it really worth your life, to speed up, cut someone off just to get somewhere faster? Because if it is, you are risking your life. Is your life important to you? I know my life is important.
