Will you….
will this last forever
will it it be just you and me
or will this image fade away
and be another memory?
will you say that you love me
when in reality you don’t
will you lie to my face
and make everything hurt
will you kiss me goodbye
and never look back
or will you hold me and tell me that you will never do that?
will you lie to me like they have done in the past
or will you tell me the truth
no matter how far i’m lost
will you look at me with pity
or will you look at me with love?
do you remember what you told me
about you and me
how i was the one
the one you couldn’t leave
the one that you would be with forever and more?
do you remember the good times
and the tears you cried at night
do you remember my heart shatter when
you broke it that night?
do you remember when i said it was over
and how i never looked back
that’s because when you broke me
i wasn’t coming back.
Wake up and look at me
see who i am
stop pretending and take my hand
love me for me
as i love you for you
because in the end
it’s only me and you.
